Candle Burning Guidelines

Wooden wick burns differently from a conventional cotton wick. For the most optimal experience, it is crucial to thoroughly read the following instructions.

The first burn is the most important of all. To fully savor your candle, ensure that the wax has liquefied to the corners of the jar. This is a crucial reminder. Only light the candle for the initial use when you have ample time at your disposal. The recommended timeframe for the first burn should span between 2 and 3 hours. By doing so, the wick will ignite again for future uses. Remembering this straightforward principle will prevent any difficulties in relighting your candle.

Before rekindling, it is imperative to eliminate the accumulated sediment from the wick.

Before relighting your candle, be sure to trim the wick. Trim it from 1/8 to 1/4 inch with the aid of a tissue or a wick trimmer. Do so carefully to avoid getting any debris inside the candle. The wick is, after all, just a small piece of wood that collects burnt residue naturally.

Always make sure that the wick has cooled down before proceeding with the trimming. Regularly trimming the wick will result in a longer and more enjoyable burn time. Neglecting to do so may result in a dangerously high flame, posing a fire hazard to the surrounding environment.

Trimmed wick
Utilizing a wick trimmer allows for the precise snipping of the charred portion of the wick, resulting in a shorter and more manageable wick.

Ensure to keep your candles distant from drafts, including vents, open windows, and fans.

Always burn your candles within sight. Never leave a burning candle unsupervised.

To ensure safety and optimal use, limit each burn session to a maximum of four hours.

Burn the candles away from children and pets.

Avoid placing candles in direct sunlight or near hot surfaces. The delicate soy wax can easily melt in high temperatures.

Keep candles away from flammable objects.

Always burn your candles on a fire-resistant and even surface.

Discontinue use when only a quarter inch of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.
